    Description

    Reproduction Miniature Medieval Carving
    Cathedral Roof Boss
Roof Bosses are carved and decorated keystones of vaulting arches. Because of their inaccessible position they escaped the destruction and vandalism over the centuries that claimed so many medieval carvings at ground level. Some of the best preserved medieval carvings today are Roof Bosses.
These accurate reproduction miniatures are hand-made by Herefordshire stone mason and craftsman, Martin Webb.
This carving represents the murder of Thomas Becket, a saint and martyr of the Catholic Church and Anglican Communion.
    Measures approximately 4.25" x 4.5" x 1.5"
    NEW WITH ORIGINAL BOX
