Vintage 15" Hand Carved Wood Sculpture Wall Hanging Hindu, Aztec Tribal Plate

Not exactly sure what the plate represents, it was brought back in the 70s or 80s from El Salvador with church missionaries..the plate is 15 1/2" in diameter, roughly a 1/2" thick, the plate is done by hand is a solid 1 piece construction, the image was carved with the circle...the plaque has never had any finish put on it, nothing, no oil, no furniture polish, so to display and have a shiny look you can add any clear finish to make the differences in the colors to stand out
